La Bastilla Natural
La Bastilla Natural comes from our favorite farm in Nicaragua. It is where we sourced our first popular fruit bomb, Blieberry Candy, and was the grower of a popular anaerobic we had last year. La Bastilla grows a mix of coffee varieties over a wide range of microclimates on their farm, picking and choosing through them each year to put out high quality and exciting coffees. This one is a natural processed coffee, meaning the coffee cherries were dried with the fruit still on the seeds, but no fermentation had time to occur. These coffees are fruity and reflect the terroir of where they were grown, without some of the funk factor that fermentation can introduce.
This is an approachable, easy-drinking coffee at an approachable price, and will be on our shelves and website for a few months!
